Founded by long time outdoor industry leader, Shanti Hodges is a former journalist who had columns in magazines like Men's Journal, Outside and REI. She also founded Hike it Baby, a non-profit club dedicated to getting families outside with young kids throughout North America.

Shanti moved to the Zion area in 2018 and took her love of adventure and travel and combined them to build out a guide business and a glampcamp.

FAQ

I am a beginner hiker. Can I do these hikes?

We accommodate all levels of hiking from beginner to experienced. Our goal is to help everyone who wants to get out there have an amazing experience in Southern Utah regardless of skill level.

What will I see on your hikes?

That's up to you! If you want pictographs and petroglyphs, we've got you covered. Arches? Slot canyons? Animal tracks? River walks? There are so many different options, which is why we live here. We can also do a drive around with short hikes and scenic views, which can accommodate less mobile people and children. Our goal is for you to fall in love with  the area like we did when we moved here.

What gear do I need?

Most hikes can be done in sneakers, however, we do suggest a good pair of light hikers with tread. This will help you stick the the sandstone we have here so you can scramble up rock faces like Spiderman and get better views. We provide hiking poles and headlamps.

What is the cancellation policy?

We ask for 72 hours cancellation please so that we have time to book another party interested in getting out with us. In these uncertain times we understand that sickness can be an issue and we will accommodate and adjust to another day if you are unable to make your booking.

How long are the tours?

We offer half day and full day tours that are 4-6 hours. After booking with us we will have a call or in person meeting to figure out what would be the best option to accommodate your group. We have 3 main areas we hike in outside of Zion National Park and around St. George.
